GEUS power plant in north GreenvilleGreenville is fortunate to have its own non-profit, locally operated municipal electric, digital cable television, high speed Internet, water, and wastewater utility systems. 

GEUS Electric has been "providing the juice" to Greenville for more than 110 years. GEUS provides a maximum capacity of 132 megawatts. Rates are comparable to or below those of private utility companies and low commercial rates are available. GEUS's Digital Cable Television and high speed Internet operation provides Greenville citizens with more than 180 television channels and instant access to the information super highway. GEUS's non-profit status allows for very competitive pricing on all the services they offer.

The water treatment facility meets or exceeds all federal water quality standards. Water is supplied through 14" mains. Three water towers, and five city reservoirs provide a reserve capacity of 6 million gallons and deliver guaranteed volume and pressure. 

Wastewater treatment capacity is 4.23 million gallons per day using a secondary high rate trickling filtration system.
